Those Lollapalooza lineup rumours are gaining traction. The Chicago Sun-Times (waazzzuuppp, Ebert?!) music guru Jim DeRogatis is saying thus:

Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails, Rage Against the Machine, Raconteurs, Kanye West, Wilco, Go! Team, Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks, Kid Sister, Cool Kids, Office, Battles, Gnarls Barkley, the Black Keys, Broken Social Scene, Bloc Party, Cat Power, Grizzly Bear, G. Love & Special Sauce, Blues Traveler and Mates of State.

Sweet, lotta Chicago dudes there, which is cool, because it's in Chicago August 1-3.

Then again, it could be bullshit -- DeRogatis did "confirm" Led Zep was playing Bonnaroo...

Remix Radiohead's 'Nude'. Do it.

Radiohead's new single "Nude" is pretty bitchin'. Oh, it could be better? Is that what you're trying to say? OK, tough guy, put some money where your mouth is and remix that noise. Seriously smartass, go buy the individual tracks on iTunes (vocals, drums, guitar, bagpipes, what-not) from the song and then remix it, and then upload it here. You could win a bike or something.

Wilco, BSS, more added to SF's Outside Lands fest

Sweet. First, Radiohead, Tom Petty and Jack Johnson, now Wilco, Broken Social Scene, Black Mountain, Cool Kids, Beck, Bon Iver and way more. Yes, these are the bands that will be playing San Fran's big, 3-day music fest Outside Lands on August 22-24. There are a bunch of lame jammy bands too (Ben Harper, Widespread Panic, etc), but you win some, you dance around like an idiot to bongo solos some. Tickets go on sale March 30.

Wilco, Rage at Lollapalooza?

The latest Lollapalooza rumors? Wilco (sweet!) and Rage Against the Machine (yawn. Again? Are these guys ever going to do a non-festival show again?) In theory, they would join alleged headliners Radiohead and Nine Inch Nails. The official line-up  should be revealed next week somtime. The event will be held in Chicago 8/1-8/3.

Radiohead playing free London gig

Radiohead will be playing a FREE show April 1 at the BBC Radio Theatre Broadcasting House in foggy Londontown.

24 hours earlier, the band will be releasing their newest single "Nude" (from In Rainbows)in the U.K. through XL Recordings. "Nude" will be available on 7", CD, and digitally. Choose your poison. The only bummer is that the b-sides for both the 7" and the CD are already available on the In Rainbows bonus disc, so no new Radiohead goodness for you super-fans.

Radiohead to headline SF fest in August?

What's this? More Radiohead rumors/news? At Ease sez they'll be playing SF's Outside Lands Festival in  Golden Gate Park this August, along with Tom Petty and (shudder) Jack Johnson.

The event runs 8/22-8/24, and we can infer that the group's L.A. date(s) will be right around that time as well (likely at the Hollywood Bowl).

Much more of a world vibe than Coachella or other competing U.S. festivals. That doesn't seem like enough bands for three days either -- maybe there are only two stages or something? Not exactly worth $300, especially when you look at the massive lineups for similarly-priced fests like Bonnaroo and Primavera, even Coachella (from the same promoters as APW).

Besides Radiohead (and Superblast! fave The Go! Team -- photo by Chinapixie), there's not much to write home about... but you should write home anyway. Your parents miss you!

All Points West getting a double-dose of Radiohead

Radioheadd (the two "d"s are for their double-dose of pimping) are apparently taking over N.J.'s upcoming All Points West Festival. The British band (wait -- they're British?!) will headline TWO of the festival's three nights. Reports continue to claim that the third night will be headlined by Jack Johnson. The rest of the lineup will (hopefully) be announced soonish.

The Radiojohnson fest runs 8/8 to 8/10 at Liberty State Park in Jersey City.

Radiohead fans in some Southern states can finally get some rest, as West Palm Beach, Florida is the first officially announced date of the band's forthcoming U.S. tour. Rumor has it that they will hit the rest of the U.S. later in the summer, so book your flights now.
